The Press
Menagerie is defined in the French Methodical Encyclopedia of 1792 as an establishment of luxury and curiosity. Goodmorning Menagerie is a chapbook press which aims to provide a unique and diverse collection of poets and poems. We publish two chapbook length collections every six months, with the intent of exposing the work of emerging poets while providing a space for emerged poets to release holistic shorter collections.
The Editors
Julie Strand is an MFA candidate at Boise State University and is the Education Coordinator at The Cabin, a literary center in Boise. She is the author of the chapbook The Mae West Defense, (Dancing Girl Press, 2009). Her poetry has appeared in Caffeine Destiny, FOURSQUARE, Boo: A Journal of Terrific Things, Weave Magazine, Delirious Hem's 2010 Advent Calendar and others.
Genna Kohlhardt got her undergraduate degree in poetry and art at the University of Colorado. She is currently an MFA candidate at Boise State University. You can find her work at Strange Machine and H_NGM_AN.
